Swing it for the Hildan Dream |

Sylvia McCully School of Dancing Celebrates its 29th Anniversary with a Charity Ballet Performance “Swing it for the Hildan Dream” in aid of “The Student’s Activity Centre” in St Hilda’s Secondary School
The dancers whose ages range from 7 years – 40 years have been rehearsing after school and work since August this year. A total of 230 dancers and back stage helpers have come together to give their time, talent and energy for the excellent cause of promoting sports within the school.
The audience will be entertained with excepts from Classical Ballets like “The Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Coppelia and Scotsman & The Sylph”, as well as various genres of dance froms like “Swing” and “Rock & Roll”.
This is an opportunity to help make “Swing it for the Hildan Dream a success by supporting the concert, sponsoring the items and contributing towards our “wish list”.

The school looks towards the continual strong support from its stakeholders and well-wishers to meet its needs for the PRIME Project. As of Aug 09, the school has paid up about $519,000 for the on-going project. About $748,000 has been raised as of Oct 09. Given the projected cumulative $1,000,000 that needs to be paid by Jan 2010, the school needs to raise another $252,000 by the end of Dec 2009.
